A backup you never test is a hope, not a backup.

BackKeep takes scheduled snapshots of your business data — and then proves they restore, with a hash-verified drill after every run. Flat per-user pricing for the sub-20-seat companies the enterprise tools priced out.

The problem: 'we have backups' (untested)

Google and Microsoft don't provide true independent backup of Workspace/M365 data against ransomware, rogue admins, or mass deletion — their retention policies are not backups. Most small companies discover this during an incident.

Enterprise backup tools charge enterprise prices: Spanning lists from $48/user/yr, Backupify around $3/user/mo. For a 12-person company, that's real money for a tool nobody verifies.

And the dirty secret of the whole category: almost nobody test-restores. A backup that's never been restored is a hope, not a backup.

Snapshots + a drill that proves them

Every backup run writes a snapshot plus a SHA-256 manifest of every file. Then the restore drill kicks in: it restores the snapshot to a temp directory and re-hashes every file against the manifest. PASS or FAIL, reported after every run.

Drill results fire to Slack and email. A FAIL pages you — a tampered or incomplete backup is worse than no backup if you believe in it.

Flat pricing from $1.50/user/mo. No per-GB meter on paid tiers — we charge for the software, not the bytes.

What you get

Scheduled snapshots

Daily automated backup on your interval, with retention pruning that keeps storage sane.

Hash-verified restore drill

After every backup: restore to temp, re-hash every file against the manifest. PASS/FAIL reported, demonstrable today.

Tamper-evident manifests

SHA-256 per file. A changed byte fails the drill — you'll know before you need the restore.

Drill alerts

Slack webhook + email on every drill result. A failed drill is an incident, not a log line.

Snapshot browser

List every snapshot: timestamp, file count, bytes, source account.

Provider adapters

Filesystem adapter fully functional; the Google Workspace adapter is built on the same engine and in live verification (pending Google OAuth app verification); the Microsoft 365 adapter is still in build-out.
